At Tech Pirates Pty Ltd, we stand by the quality of our products. Our goal is to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, and warranty claims.

Return and Refund Policy

1. Return Period

  • Change of Mind: You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your item to initiate a return for a change of mind.

  • Faulty on Delivery: If your product is non-functional upon delivery, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for a return.

2. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns for all products purchased directly from our website, except for items explicitly marked as "Non-Returnable" or "Final Sale" on the product page. This typically includes software licenses, opened consumables, and personalized items.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • For Change of Mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  • For Faulty on Delivery and Warranty returns, Tech Pirates will cover the cost of return shipping.

  • International Customers: Shipping costs for international returns may vary. Please contact us for details before returning your item.

4. Restocking Fee
Change-of-mind returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. This fee may vary based on the condition of the returned product and if any components are missing.

5. Conditions for Accepting Returns
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • In its original, unused, and unopened condition.

  • Packaged in the original manufacturer's box with all included accessories, manuals, and tags.

  • Free of any physical damage, scratches, or signs of use.

6. Exchanges and Refunds
For eligible returns, we offer an exchange for another product or a monetary refund to the original payment method.

7. Return Initiation Process
To start a return, please email us at help@techpirate.com.au. Our team will guide you through the process and provide the correct return address to ship your item. Please do not ship returns to our postal address without first receiving a returns authorisation.

8. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 48 hours. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account will depend on your bank or payment provider's processing times. Please note, the processing time may be longer if the product is not returned in acceptable condition.

9. International Returns
This Return and Refund Policy applies to our international customers. However, customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or taxes incurred during the return process. Return shipping costs may vary by region.

10. Refusal of Returns
We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund if the product:

  • Shows signs of physical, water, or electrical damage.

  • Is not working due to improper usage, installation, or accidental damage.

  • Is not in its original condition, is missing parts, or is damaged due to customer negligence.


Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

  • All brand-new products come with a standard 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

  • All refurbished products come with a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase.

2. Warranty Claim Conditions
A valid proof of purchase (e.g., original invoice or order number) is required to validate all warranty claims.

3. Warranty Void
The manufacturer's warranty will be void if the product:

  • Shows signs of physical impact, water damage, or electrical damage (e.g., power surge).

  • Has been modified, repaired, or serviced by anyone not authorized by Tech Pirates Pty Ltd.

  • Has had its serial number label removed or defaced.

4. Warranty Fulfillment
If a fault occurs during the warranty period, we will fulfil the warranty through the following steps:

  • Troubleshooting: Customers must provide pictures or videos of the issue as requested and follow our troubleshooting steps to attempt to resolve the problem before a warranty claim is approved.

  • Repair: Our first step is to repair the faulty product.

  • Replacement: If the product is deemed irreparable, we will replace it with the same or an equivalent model (subject to availability).

  • Refund: If repair or replacement is not possible, we will provide a refund for the product.

5. Warranty Claim Process

6. Warranty Resolution Time
Upon receipt of your warranty claim and the faulty product, we will inspect it and aim to provide a resolution within 2 to 5 business days, depending on the nature and severity of the fault.
